KABUL – In Afghanistan, four policemen including Chief Officer were killedin two separate attacks in Kabul and Logar province today. Spokesman forthe provincial police said that a suicide bomber detonated a small truckfilled with explosives close to a police building in Pul-e-Alam,headquarters of Logar province .

Eight civilians were also wounded in the attack.

Meanwhile , In Kabul eight attackers were killed by government forces whenthey attacked on the new building of the Ministry of Interior ofAfghanistan.

According to the spokesman for the ministry Najib Danish, an explosionoccurred close to the entrance gate of the ministry followed by gunfire byattackers.

He told that one policeman was killed, and five others were wounded in theattack.
