Top International Cricketer announced retirement plan

Hyderabad: Bangladeshi cricket captain Shakib Al Hasan, while presenting his retirement plan, has said that the 2025 Champions Trophy could be his final assignment as an international cricketer.
He mentioned that he intends to retire from T20 international cricket after the 2024 T20 World Cup and may retire from Test cricket after the upcoming One Day World Cup in India.
Shakib stated, "I will announce my retirement formally after the 2025 Champions Trophy."
During an interview with a foreign sports channel, Bangladeshi captain Shakib also revealed that he had almost stepped down from captaincy shortly after returning from the Asia Cup earlier this month but remained with the team for the World Cup after discussions with the management.
