Famous Chinese scientist has denied the claim of reaching the south pole of the moon from India's side.In an interview with the Chinese newspaper Science Times, Ouyang Ziyuan, the founder of the lunar exploration program on China's part, said that India's claim of reaching the south pole of the moon is incorrect.

He stated that the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 was at a latitude of 69 degrees south, while India claimed 88.5 and 90 degrees, which was far from the actual location of Chandrayaan-3.
