General (R) Bajwa offered us a deal, Toppling PTI government in lieu of his extension: Top PMLN leader

"You should form the Punjab government in June and the federal government by December," said the former army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa regarding the extension of his tenure, according to a statement by a PML-N leader. He further explained that the party leadership felt it was necessary to proceed with the extension decision at this time.

He also mentioned that Nawaz Sharif had placed a condition that his return would not be part of the extension, and before the voting on the extension.

Speaking on a private TV program, former federal minister Khawaja Asif stated that if there had been flexibility in the decision on the Faizabad sit-in case, all these discussions would not have taken place. He emphasized the need for action on the decision of the Faizabad sit-in case and that those who had conspired against Nawaz Sharif should be brought to justice.

Previously, senior PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair had said that at that time, General Bajwa was a political reality, and they had to make a deal. They couldn't afford to open all fronts everywhere and all the time. The public needs to know why and how the journey of progress was halted.

We voted in the assembly based on that vote, how can we now question it? We want Pakistan's progress to continue, and it's essential for Nawaz Sharif, who is trying to explain. What happened with the PML-N was part of the conspiracy, and it was PTI's title project with the N-League case."
