Former PM Nawaz Sharif in trouble

Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that the government wishes for the rule of law to prevail regarding the return of the leader of the PML-N to the country. While speaking in an interview with BBC Urdu, he emphasized that the government wants the law to take its course in Nawaz Sharif's return case.

Therefore, they have sought legal advice from the Ministry of Law regarding the possibility of his apprehension and potential imprisonment upon his return.

Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar also mentioned that in the coming weeks, the country will witness political gatherings in anticipation of elections. If any political leader is unable to participate in the elections, it may lead to an electoral crisis. He clarified that this is not a matter for the government to intervene in, but rather a societal and state issue if an electoral crisis arises as a result of the election outcomes.

Furthermore, he stated that in the current national circumstances, the challenge faced by the PTI Chairman is not with the military but with the state. If relief is not obtained from the courts, then Chairman PTI may have to confront these outcomes reluctantly.
