Diamer Bhasha Dam hit with yet another controversy

KARACHI - Diamer Bhasha Dam has hit by yet another controversy as PPP lawmaker has raised voice against the Dam in the Sindh Assembly.

Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah says no dam, including Bhasha Dam, will be built on the River Indus.

Shah made this statement while speaking on the floor of the Sindh Assembly today. He said Bhasha dam won’t be constructed on Indus River, terming the plan for dam construction as unfeasible.

He also claimed that he would get his daughter enrolled in a government school, adding that education should be kept aside from politics.
