Pakistani JF-17 attracts dignitaries in defence exhibition ADEX 2016 in Baku

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, who is currently in Baku, Azerbaijan to attend a defence exhibition 'ADEX-2016,' Wednesday held a meeting with Turkish Minister for National Defence Fikri Isik.

He also met Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yaqub Ayyubov and Minister for Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammedyarov, said a press release issued here.
During the meetings, Rana Tanveer Hussain discussed ways and means to promote bilateral cooperation in diverse fields especially defence production.
The minister mentioned Pakistan expertise in defence production especially Super Mushshak and JF-17 aircraft.
During the exhibition, Rana Tanveer visited different stalls and discussed the possibilities of joint production.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also visited stall of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. He was briefed about the JF-17 Thunder fighter and Super Mushshak. The President took keen interest in the Pakistani products.
The Minister for Defence Production highlighted the miseries of people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and Indian forces' brutalities in occupied Kashmir.

"Intolerance is growing towards the minorities in India," he added.
He requested to raise the voice for innocent Kashmiris at international forums.
The minister urged the international community to stop India from committing human rights violations in IHK where entire population was barricaded inside their homes.
