Crossed red lines: Iran hints at taking military action against Israel

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has hinted to take action against Israel, citing what he described as Israel's actions exceeding acceptable limits. President Raisi made this declaration on his social media account, emphasizing that the "Zionist regime's crimes have crossed the red lines" and warning that such circumstances could compel action from various parties.
President Raisi also criticized the United States, alleging that while Washington had requested Iran to refrain from taking action, it continued to provide extensive support to Israel.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the conflict in Gaza would likely be prolonged.
He outlined the objectives of the war, which included dismantling Hamas and securing the release of hostages taken by Hamas on October 7th and still held in Gaza. Netanyahu assured the families of the hostages that he would explore all available options to bring their loved ones back home.
Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Israel had entered a new phase of the conflict, indicating that their military operations were comprehensive, targeting both above and below ground. The minister affirmed that the operation would persist until new orders were given.
