Imad Wasim undergoes a significant shift in his PSL journey as he transitions from Karachi Kings to Islamabad United for the upcoming ninth edition.
This move, announced by Islamabad United, involves a strategic trade with fast bowler Hasan Ali moving to Karachi Kings. Imad expresses excitement about joining Islamabad United, bidding farewell to Karachi and reflecting on the end of his special journey with Karachi Kings, which included leading the team to victory in the fifth season.
Imad Wasim, reflecting on this transition, said, “A new beginning. My special journey with Karachi Kings has come to an end. It was a dream come true to lead the team to win the trophy for the fifth season.”
He extended his gratitude to fellow players, fans, and Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal while wishing the team success.
In his statement about joining Islamabad United, Imad Wasim stated, “It is time to start a new chapter. Excited to join my hometown team Islamabad United.
