Nawaz provided questionnaire to record statement in Flagship Investment reference

ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court provided a questionnaire to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to record his statement under Section 342 in Flagship Investment corruption reference.
The court had included 62 questions in the list which was shared with the defense side after Khawaja Haris concluded his cross-examining with National Accountability Bureau (NAB)'s Investigation Officer Muhammad Kamran.
The NAB would also submit its statement with the court on Thursday regarding the completion of its evidence in Flagship Investment reference against Sharif family members.
Accountability Court Judge Arshad Malik resumed hearing on Flagship Investment reference filed by NAB against Sharif family. Former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also appeared before the court to attend the proceeding.
Earlier, Nawaz's counsel Khawaja Haris continued his cross examining with NAB IO Muhammad Kamran, who informed the trial court that the former prime minister didn't mention the certain companies of Hassan Nawaz during his address at floor of the National Assembly. However, the accused collectively talked about the business of his sons in abroad, he said.
He said Nawaz Sharif didn't hold any public office during the time of 1999 to 2013.
After the defense concluded his cross-examining with NAB IO, the court shared a list of 62 questions with the accused to record his statement in Flagship Investment reference.
Meanwhile, the NAB would also record its statement on Thursday regarding the completion of evidence in Flagship Investment reference.
