Five killed, several inured in road mishaps

GUJRAT/KALOR KOT: At least five people were killed and several others injured two separate road mishaps in Gujrat and Kalor Kot on Wednesday.
In the first incident, the activists of Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (SAW) were waiting for others who were returning from Islamabad when an over-speeding hit them, killing two of them on the spot and injuring 10 others.
The injured people were shifted to local hospital for medical assistance. The deceased men were identified as Suleman and Sibtain Shah.
According to police, the driver of the car was drunk.
In another incident, three persons were killed and nine others injured when a passenger bus collided with a tractor trolley in Kalor Kot.
The injured people were rushed to local hospital, while the condition of five injured was said to be critical.
