DG ISPR refutes news regarding Army Leadership

RAWALPINDI: DG ISPR Lt. General Asim Bajwa refuted rumors related to the army leadership.
In an informal talk Lt. General Bajwa had with journalists on Monday, he said negative propaganda against the Army must be avoided.
DG ISPR added that rumors related to Army chief were disappointing.
Lt. General Bajwa further said speculations should not be made over routine army appointments.
He said that if any changes are made in the Army the ISPR will notify the media.
Certain sections of media were spreading fake news of Army Chief being Qadiani.
Similarly rumours were made news regarding the transfers and postings of senior Army officers.
