Canals closure programme in Punjab for annual maintenance issued

LAHORE: Lower Jhelum Canal, Rasul-Qadirabad Link Canal, Upper Jhelum Canal and Thal Canal would remain closed for annual maintenance for different duration in the next two months.
According to Irrigation Department of Punjab, Lower Jhelum and Rasul Qadirabad Link canals would remain closed from 26th of next month to 12th of January next year.
Upper Jhelum Canal would be closed from 12th to 29th of January next year while Thal Canal would remain closed from 13th to 30th of January.
