Indian troops martyr two more youth in occupied Kashmir

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth during a cordon and search operation in Kukarnag area of Islamabad district on Tuesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the killings triggered intensive clashes between youth and the forces’ personnel.

In another incident, a teen age boy was martyred and another injured when a mortar shell went off in Bandipora district.

The boys were playing in an open field when suddenly a mortar shell of Indian army exploded in Gurez area of the district.

Meanwhile, clashes broke out between Indian troops and protesters during a cordon and search operation in Karimabad area of district Pulwama.

The troops used force and fired teargas shells, while the youth pelted stones on them.

On the otherhand, the Joint Resistance Leadership in a statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the extension of judicial remand of illegally detained Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik by a National Investigation Agency court upto July 7.

The JRL said that the illegal detention of Muhammad Yasin Malik is being prolonged in violation of fundamental human rights.

Massive clashes erupted between students and Indian troops in Gandarbal and Sopore areas against the killing of mujahid commander Zakir Moosa by Indian army.

The Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal campus and Government Degree Collage Gandarbal blocked the road outside the campus in protest.

The students of Degree College Sopore staged the protest inside the college and when they tried to march outside, police and paramilitary personnel prevented them, triggering clashes.
