PM to visit Havelian-Thakot motorway project today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will visit Havelian-Thakot motorway project on Tuesday.
The 120 kilometer motorway is part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
The project is located in the North of Pakistan. Starting from Havelian, it passes through Abbottabad, Mansehra, Shinkiari and terminates at Thakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Work on Havelian-Thakot section was started in 2017 and it is expected to be completed in February 2020. Completion of the project will pave the way for agricultural and industrial development and open up new avenues of economic uplift and resultantly new opportunities of employment will be generated.
