WASHINGTON: Why US First Lady Michelle Obama visited Pakistan House in Washington.
In a surprise move United States first Lady Michelle Obama visited Pakistan Embassy in Washington.
She was received by Pakistani ambassador in US Jalil Abbas Jillani.
The move came as a surprise to many as Pak-US relations are currently under going a turbulent phase after a drone Strike in Noshki Baluchistan which allegedly killed Afghan Taliban Commander Mullah Akhtar Mansoor.
Pakistan has summoned US Ambassador in Pakistan David Halle to foreign office and agitated against the US drone strike in Baluchistan and termed it as an attack on sovereignty of Pakistan.
The recent visit of Michelle Obama is termed as a smart move to soften the relations between Pakistan and US.
