Pakistan, Italy agree to enhance bilateral trade ties

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said Pakistan is fully committed to further expand its relations with Italy in different areas including economic cooperation, trade, auto sector, and investment.
Talking to Italian Deputy Minister of International Cooperation Mr. Benedetto Della Vedova in Islamabad on Wednesday, he highlighted the bilateral friendly ties of both countries.
Mr. Benedetto Della Vedova said high level interaction between the two countries is progressing well and expressed appreciation over growth in bilateral trade.
He said there is lot of untapped potential for furtherance of economic cooperation, especially in energy, infrastructure development and automotive sectors.
He said Italian companies are already undertaking important projects in Pakistan.
