Large scale protests in India as Chinese national tore away Indian flag in Noida

NEW DELHI – Large-scale protests broke out in Noida on Tuesday after a Chinese employee of Oppo company allegedly tore an Indian flag and threw it in a dustbin.
A protest was staged outside the Noida office by Oppo employees and members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad causing Oppo to close its office.
Apart from the protests, three Oppo employees have formally filed a complaint against the said Chinese staffer who also lost job at Oppo.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident but widespread protests resulted in traffic snarl-ups as demonstrators poured out in large number demanding action against the accused.
