Frontier Corps foils terror bid in Quetta

QUETTA (APP): Frontier Corps (FC) foiled a terror bid and defused 10 kg improvised explosive devices (IED) at Sabzal Road area of provincial capital on Wednesday.
According to FC spokesman, following on a tip off, FC personnel along with bomb disposal squad team reached the site and defused 10 kg planted IEDs.
The FC spokesman said that suspects had planted IEDs for targeting school children and innocent citizens in the area.
Frontier Corps personnel cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects.
Further investigation was underway.
