Two policemen martyred in Quetta

QUETTA: (APP) Two personnel of police were martyred while SHO Shalkot Javed Buzdar escaped in the attack at Hazar Ganji Market area of provincial capital on Tuesday evening.
According to police sources, unidentified gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire at SHO Shalkot vehicle when they were patrolling in the area.
As a result, two policemen including a driver of SHO died on the spot and SHO Javed Buzdar escaped safe. The both bodies were shifted to civil hospital for legal formalities.
Armed assailants managed to escape from the scene after committing murders.
Police cordoned off the entire area and started efforts to trace out suspects.
Further investigation was underway.
