Russia keen to strengthen trade ties with Pakistan

KARACHI: (APP) Counsel General of The Russian Federation Oleg N Avdeev has said that his country was looking forward for strengthening trade relations with Pakistan.
There is a great potential for Pakistani exports in the Russian market; He further added.
Addressing an Aftar dinner organized by Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) in his honor, he said that CEO TDAP S M Muneer is playing a vital role for Pak Russia business relations, said a statement here Tuesday.
The CEO TDAP and Petron in Chief of KATI S M Muneer said that Pakistani exporters should focus on Russian markets, as there was huge potential for our products and goods.
Muneer urged the business community to visit and explore Russian markets.
"There is very friendly environment for business people and government give preference to investor and businessmen there" he said.
Muneer also praised the Consul General Avdeev for his efforts to built new relations of business community of Pakistan with Russia.
President of KATI Zahid Saeed said that things are changing internationally, and in this perspective Pak-Russia relation developing in very positive direction, especially since last few years.
He said that both countries have great potential of business and investment projects.
"our leader S.M Muneer is playing a key role for developing business relations with Russia, he took delegations to those areas, where any Pakistani delegation never visited before" he said.
Former Presidents, member of chief executive committee of KATI and other representatives of trade and industry community were also present in this event.
