KARACHI: The MQM-P has threatened to launch a protest drive after their requests for vote recount were rejected in Karachi.
MQM-P leader Faisal Sabzwari said that the party’s requests for a recount in NA-239 and other constituencies were rejected by the authorities.
“We will call the workers and give a call for protests if our demands are not met,” Mr Sabzwari said.
The MQM-P leader added that PTI leader Jehangir Khan Tareen had contacted his party yesterday but they were not invited to join the government.
“We are ready to talk to the PTI for the betterment of Karachi,” he said. APP
