South Africa fast bowler Rabada makes historic achievement in test match against Pakistan

South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada becomes the third fastest bowler to take 200 test wickets for his country He also became the 8th Proteas bowler to the mark as well, on Thursday.

The right-handed pace bowler attained the achievement on day three of the ongoing first Test against Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi. Dale Steyn is the fastest African bowler to reach the milestone, though pacer Allan Donald is the second-quickest Proteas cricketer to take 200 Test wickets.

Rabada takes the 200th test wicket of Hassan Ali to achieve this milestone and also becomes the third-fastest player in test history to achieve this target in terms of balls bowled. Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis (7,730) and compatriot Dale Steyn (7,848) are the two fastest bowlers to the mark, while Rabada took 8154 balls to 200 Test wickets.

The second Test Match will be played in Rawalpindi from 4th February. Whereas, three-match T20I series will be held in Lahore from 11th to 14th February.
