Japanese FM expresses hope for improved ties with China

Japanese Foreign Minister has expressed hope for improved relations with China during talks with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing on Sunday.

In opening remarks to his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono said that as the world's second and third largest economies, both the countries have a major responsibility in safeguarding the stability and prosperity of Asia and the world at large.

Japanese Foreign Minister stressed to deal with issues facing the entire globe, in particular the issue of North Korea.
