Punjab safe cities project to be extended to four other major cities

LAHORE: Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif chaired meeting of provincial cabinet committee for law and order here at CM House, Lahore. The meeting reviewed the law and order situation of the province.
As per details, the meeting also reviewed the measures to improve the police system. The meeting under the chairmanship of Shahbaz Sharif decided to extend safe cities project to four other major cities.
CM Shahbaz said that the first phase of safe cities project in Lahore will be completed in October. He added that the approval has been given to start safe cities project in Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala.
The land has also been identified to start safe cities project in all four cities. Citizens will be secured through safe cities project while this project will play an important role to stop the crimes in cities. CM added.
