Imran Khan thanks COAS for providing land for Shaukat Khanum Hospital Karachi

ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that Army Chief Raheel Sharif has donated 20 acers of land in DHA for the construction of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Karachi.
As per details, Imran thanked Army Chief for providing land for Shaukat Khanum Hospital Karachi in his tweet message and said that 20 acers land have been allocated in DHA.
Imran added that the construction of hospital will be started in few months. Shaukat Khanum hospital is a non-profit organization and free treatment will be provided to the cancer patients without any discrimination.
It is also worthy to mention here that the first hospital was established in Lahore in 1994 while second hospital was opened in Peshawar in 2015.
