Government flexing muscles to replace NAB with Ehtisab Commission

ISLAMABAD: A standing Committee of National Assembly for Law and Justice will review the National Accountability Ordinance Bill 2015. The session of committee has been called on March 4 in this regard.

 

As per details, a framework has been prepared by federal government to replace NAB with National Ehtsaab Commission. The policy of replacing NAB with Ehtsaab Commission has taken under the famous Democracy Resolution.

 

“The commission will be established under Article 13, Section D of the Democracy Resolution” Private Channel.

 

PML-N government is also consulting with the major opposition parties in this regard. NAB has been criticized by ruling party over the last few days due to the action of NAB against alleged corrupt politicians and important personalities of Punjab.

 

PPP has already showed its concerns over NAB's unnecessary action against PPP leaders including Dr. Asim Hussain. The ruling party is preparing framework to eliminate the whole organization.
