New National Economic Council consisting of 4 members notified

ISLAMABAD – Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has approved the establishment of a new National Economic Council.
He approved the summary sent on the recommendation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The approval has been granted under Article 156(1) of the Constitution.
The new NEC will comprise of Finance Minister Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiar, PM’s Adviser Abdur Razzaq Dawood and Dr Ishrat Hussain.
