Fahad Malik murder case : Main accused arrested at border

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Border security forces on Sunday arrested Raja Arshad, the main accused Fahad Malik murder case, who is being brought to Capital from Torkham border.
Talking to APP, the spokesman of Islamabad Police also confirmed the arrest of the main accused and said the border security forces arrested him at Torkham border while trying to escape to Afghanistan.
During the investigation, Raja Arshad told the security forces that he had planned to move to United Kingdom from Afghanistan.
The interior ministry had already cancelled his passport and placed him on the Exit Control List.
Raja Arshad would be brought to Islamabad today, the spokesman said.
The Islamabad Police had also arrested Nauman Khokhar, another accused in the murder case of Barrister Fahad Malik, on Saturday.
Additional Sessions Judge Pervaiz-ul-Qadir Memon had directed the police to arrest accused after his interim bail was rejected.
A British-Pakistani citizen, Fahad Malik was killed here when the accused allegedly opened fires on his car.
The victim had reached the site near Shalimar Police Station to mediate a dispute between two parties involving Tariq Malik group and duo Raja Arshad and Nauman Khokhar.
