Chinese Communist Party sends official letter to Pakistani Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD - Chinese Communist Party on Tuesday has thanked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) for supporting China in the fight against deadly coronavirus.
In a letter, the Chinese party lauded appreciations flooding from Pakistan’s different sectors and expressed hope for early elimination of the virus from the world.
The Chinese Community Party also lauded support and cooperation of PML-N and the support of Shehbaz Sharif during pandemic in China.
The letter further reads, that Pakistani society played vital role and extended its full support to its old and time tested friend China, which are highly appreciated.
Earlier, Mian Shehbaz Sharif had written a letter to Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang congratulating him on successfully defeating coronavirus in his country.
He also thanked China for its help to Pakistan in fighting the virus, calling it renewed commitment to their long lasting friendship.
The Pakistani people are proud of Pak-China friendship as it has always come good at the hour of need, he added.
