Pakistan Iran high level meeting discuss multiple new ventures between two Islamic states

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group in its meeting in Islamabad on Monday discussed issues of Iran Pakistan gas pipeline, barter trade, rail and air connectivity.
The group met at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of its convener Senator Abdul Qayyum.
They also discussed the United States sanctions and its implications, CPEC, ferry service between Gwadar and Chahbahar and the need to promote Muslim unity.
The meeting was also attended by the Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Hunar Dost.
The group agreed to further promote bilateral parliamentary ties to remove all irritants in bilateral ties.
Senator Abdul Qayyum invited Iranian parliamentary delegation to visit Pakistan in mid-June.
Iranian Ambassador said Iran is fully ready to cooperate in any effort for normalisation of their relations with Saudi Arabia. app***
