Two arrested in Bahawalpur operation

BAHAWALPUR, (APP): The police conducted search operation in connection with Moharram-ul-Haram security arrangements in different areas of Bahawalpur district, during that two suspected persons were taken into custody.
The police sources said here on Thursday that following the instructions received by the Home Department, Government of Punjab, the police launched search operation in different areas and conducted bio-matric of several people. "Two suspected men were also taken into custody who had been shifted to police station for interrogation," they said.
Meanwhile, the district management said that over 1,000 police personnel have been deployed for security duty during Ashura of Moharram-ul-Haram in Bahawalpur district.
