Pakistan Foreign Minister meeting with US counterpart cancelled

ISLAMABAD – While rejecting the recently announced US policy on South Asia, Pakistan has on Thursday cancelled another high-level meeting between Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and US Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson.
Diplomatic sources said that the foreign ministry has sent parliamentary recommendations on relations with US to the US consulate.
The documents contain the details of resolutions and decisions taken by Pakistan’s Senate, National Assembly and National Security Committee.
Pakistan Foreign Minister was scheduled to meet his American counterpart in this week.
