US Dollar rises significantly against Pakistani Rupee

Rhe US dollar experienced a notable increase of Rs 1.76 against the Pakistani rupee in interbank trading. This surge saw the USD climbing from 278.81 rupees to reach a closing rate of Rs 280.57 within the interbank market at the week's end.

Concurrently, the US currency appreciated by one rupee in the open market throughout the same week, transitioning from 280.50 rupees to Rs 281.50. Furthermore, various other foreign currencies exhibited gains during this period.

The Euro, for instance, saw an increase of one rupee, resulting in its selling price reaching Rs 297. Meanwhile, the British Pound remained steady, maintaining the same price at the conclusion of the week.

In addition to these shifts, the Saudi riyal experienced an uptick of 30 paisa, settling at 75.50 rupees. Likewise, the Emirates dirham appreciated by Rs 1.45, ultimately settling at 79.20 rupees.
