In a fortunate turn of events, the Khyber Mail Express, traveling from Lahore to Karachi on a Saturday, managed to avoid a potential mishap. The incident occurred while the train was passing through Sahiwal when smoke started emanating from one of the bogies' wheels. Railway authorities swiftly responded to the situation.
Upon closer inspection by railway officials, it was discovered that the wheels on a specific bogie of the Khyber Mail had become jammed.
In response to this critical issue, immediate action was taken. The affected bogie was promptly detached from the train to prevent any further complications.
With the problematic bogie safely removed, the Khyber Mail Express was given the green light to continue its journey to Karachi without any subsequent incidents. This timely response and resolution prevented what could have been a more significant mishap during the journey.
