Income tax returns filing last date: FBR makes important announcement

Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that it will not extend the deadline for the collection of income tax returns. According to the details, the last date for collecting income tax returns is October 31.
The FBR authorities have stated that there will be no further extension for collecting income tax returns. The FBR officials had previously announced that tax offices will remain open on weekends to collect taxes and officers will be on duty to assist individual taxpayers.
In addition, large tax units for corporate taxes will also remain open on October 28, and the Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will also provide services on weekdays.
It's worth noting that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had previously extended the deadline for collecting income tax returns by one month, allowing taxpayers to submit their returns until October 31.
