APA conference to begin in Gwadar on Monday

The three-day conference of Asian Parliamentary Assembly's Standing Committee on Political Affairs and the Special Committee for the Creation of an Asian Parliament will commence in Gwadar from Monday.
The conference being hosted by the Senate of Pakistan will help project Gwadar in a different manner and bring Parliamentary leadership of Asia together for promoting peace and development.
Delegates from twenty-six Asian countries including Secretary General Inter-Parliamentary Union will deliberate on matters of mutual interest to Asian region in terms of political affairs, economic trade and other regional issues.
Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has also reached Gwadar to review the arrangements.
