Ahmed Noorani attack: DG ISPR official response surfaces

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan army chief spokesman Ma-Gen Asif Ghafoor on Saturday condemned yesterday’s attack on a journalist in Islamabad.
In a Twitter message, DG ISPR said that the attack was an attempt to cause unrest.
Pakistan army fully supports for efforts to catch culprits and bring them to justice, he added.
Ahmaed Noorani, a senior investigative journalist, was beaten up by a group of unidentified men with iron rods.
The journalist was injured in the attack.
