Supreme Court orders government legislation over issue of tenure extension of Army Chief

ISLAMABAD - The Supreme Court has granted a six-month extension in Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa's service.
In a short order today, the court ordered the government to complete legislation in this regard during this period.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa heard the case.
The Chief Justice pronounced the short order, while detailed verdict would be announced later.
