ECP announces verdict on disqualification plea of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected all the applications that requested disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI Chief Imran Khan as member of the National Assembly.
All the applications were filed by the local citizens, however, ECP declared the applications ‘non-serious’ and rejected them on the basis of ‘lack of evidence’.
