Ehsas programme’s objective to provide relief to poor people

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistance to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a great programme of Ehsas as its objective was to provide relief to poor people of the country.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said the incumbent government had showed its political good will through launching Ehsas programme for the poor masses.
He said creating sense of realisation for others was the top most things so the government had made the name of Ehsas to its new programme of relief in which poor segment of society would be benefited through it.
Usman Dar said everyone should have to play their due role to make it success for providing relief to right people of the country.
Replying to a question, he said those institutions which were already working for the purpose the government was going to create new ministry, adding that the government would bring Bait-ul-Mall, Zakat-o-Usher and Benazir Income support programme (BISP) under the new ministry and wanted to work as jointly for poverty alleviation from the country.
He said new ministry would monitor all matters regarding the Ehsas programme.
The government was fully committed to bring the visible change in the lives of poor people, he added.
