PM visits Joint Staff headquarters

ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has visited joint staff headquarters accompanied by the Defense Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan where he was briefed on the operational preparedness of armed forces.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi expressed immense confidence in preparations of armed forces to neutralize and defeat complete spectrum of threats and challenges.
He paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of the armed forces, specially the Shaheeds.
Prime Minister assured that nation will provide necessary resources to meet defense requirements of Pakistan Defense Forces.
Earlier, upon arrival at joint staff headquarters the Prime Minister was welcomed by General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman JCSC.
A smartly turned out tri-services contingent presented ‘guard of honour’ to the Prime Minister.
