Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission to build cancer hospital in AJK

ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) has formally approved to construct a cancer hospital in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairman PAEC, Dr. Naeem Ahmad revealed this in a meeting with AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in Islamabad.
Ministry of National Health Services will provide required funds for construction of the 100 bedded hospital.
The ministry has directed AJK government to prepare PC-1 of the hospital duly approved by AJK Development Working Party and send it to the ministry so as to start work on it as early as possible .A team of PAEC will inspect site spanning over 100 kanal land proposed by the AJK Government in Muzaffarabad.
AJK Prime Minister thanked federal government and Chairman PAEC and termed establishment of the cancer hospital a gift for the people of the state.
