Pakistan held responsible for more than half of the coronavirus cases in England

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has been highlighted as the origin for half of Britain’s imported Covid-19 cases as there are calls for stricter quarantine checks on people from ‘high-risk’ countries.
Reportedly, it is understood that half the incidents of imported infections have originated from Pakistan.
Cases in the country will double to 300,000 by the end of July.
This data from Public Health England showed 30 cases since June 4, 2020.
Pakistan is said to have reported 4,000 coronavirus cases a day. The country has suffered a rise in cases facing a new spike since easing the lockdown.
Since March 1, 2020, 190 flights arrived from Pakistan to the UK.
According to The Telegraph, over 65,000 passengers travelled to Britain. It is believed that most are British passport holders.
Allegedly, some of the people travelling from Pakistan to the UK have been going straight to the hospital upon arrival.
They have had to be placed in intensive care. Two flights from Pakistan have been arriving in the UK every day.
In fact, Dubai air carrier, Emirates has suspended flights out of the high-risk country.
This decision came after 30 passengers tested positive for coronavirus on a flight to Hong Kong on June 22, 2020.
