ISLAMABAD: Applet Tribunal Islamabad rejected two appeals filed against nomination papers of PTI chief Imran Khan in NA-53 constituency.
Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani rejected objections raised in both appeals by Abdul Wahab and Haroon Arshad Sheikh and allowed Imran Khan to contest election from the constituency.
Appellate Tribunal Bannu accepted nomination papers of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for contesting election on National Assembly seat, NA-35 Bannu.
Appeal against acceptance of his nomination paper was filed by Inamullah Wazir of Justice Democratic Party.
Appellate Tribunal has rejected appeal against acceptance of nomination papers of PTI chief Imran Khan from constituency NA-243 Karachi.
The appeal, filed by Mohammad Javed Khalid, was rejected on technical ground and Imran was declared eligible for contesting elections from the constituency.
Meanwhile, the Appellate Tribunal in Dera Ismail Khan has rejected all appeals regarding rejection of nomination papers.
Justice Ijaz Anwar of Dera Ismail Khan Tribunal rejected all appeals filed against candidates of various political parties including Sardar Ali Amin Khan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Waqar Ahmad Khan, Faisal Karim Khan Kundi and others.
