ZTBL launches Junior Account for minors

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) Tuesday launched its new product "ZTBL Junior Account (ZJA)) here to help minors secure their savings.
The ZJA would be provided to youngsters below the age of 18 years.
President ZTBL, Syed Talat Mehmood formally opened the facility in a ceremony held here.
Speaking on the occasion, the ZTBL President said the purpose of this facility was to help the account holders place their savings in a fully secured bank, which was guaranteed by the government of Pakistan.
He said ZTBL Junior Account was a great way to accumulate savings for the children and at the same time teaching them money management skills", he said adding the account had been designed to provide convenience at the time of account opening while at the same time offering attractive profit rate and a special incentive plan for the kids.
The account would be opened in the name of child with personalized cheque books and a welcome pack and would help children to develop a know-how of banking procedure, he added.
