Police foil sabotage bid by defusing land mines

JAFFARABAD: (APP) Police foiled a sabotage bid and defused landmines in Dera Allah-yar area of the district on Monday.
According to police sources, acting on a tip off, a police party along with bomb disposal squad team reached the site and defused landmines which were planted near Sunny Patrol Pump for sabotage activities by unknown men.
Police cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects.
Further investigation was underway.
