Bomb blast outside the electoral candidate office: police

In BANNU, a bomb blast outside the office of electoral candidate Malik Shah Mohammad from PK-101 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in two individuals getting injured, according to ARY News on Saturday.

The explosion, believed to be caused by a bomb planted on a motorbike, targeted the office, causing harm to two rickshaw drivers.

Swiftly responding, rescue officials reached the scene, transferring the injured to the nearest hospital for immediate medical assistance. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the blast. Although Malik Shah Mohammad was not present in his office during the incident, the police are actively investigating the case.

This incident follows another bomb blast earlier this month in Quetta, where eight individuals, including children, were injured near a hospital.

Police officials reported that three underage children, a policeman, and pedestrians were among the injured. A bomb disposal squad was called in after cordoning off the area to handle the situation.
