Pakistan-Iran vow to enhance bilateral trade to $5 billion

National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua has said Pakistan attaches great value to its relations with neighbor country Iran.
He was talking to Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of Iran, Allauddin Boroujerdi in Islamabad on Friday.
He said that Iran is a very close friend of Pakistan and there is a need to further improve bilateral relations.
Matters pertaining to security of the region also came under the discussion in the meeting.
Later addressing news conference in Islamabad, Allauddin Boroujerdi said Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance bilateral trade from one billion to five billion dollars.
He said Gwadar and Chabahar are sister ports, and they will help boost bilateral trade.
He said Iran Pakistan Gas Pipeline is on the top priorities of both the countries.
