PTI government saves Rs 4,478 billion from exchequer in three years

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government saved Rs 4,748 billion from the exchequer during its two-and-a-half-year tenure.

Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub while sharing the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, wrote on social networking site Twitter that action speaks louder than words.

Sharing the figures on Twitter, he wrote that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had saved 1.5 1.5 billion (Rs. 248 billion) in the Karkey case in its two-and-a-half-year tenure.

In his tweet, Omar Ayub wrote that the government saved $3 billion (Rs. 500 billion) in LNG.

The Federal Minister for Energy further wrote that through the IPPs agreement, the PTI government saved $24 billion (Rs. 4,000 billion).
